The Harvest Program was developed and is presented by Marvin Bryant. Marvin has a B.A. and an M.A. in biblical studies from Abilene Christian University. He also participated in the St. Louis Spiritual Internship, a training program designed to help people learn to put their faith into practice, reach out to the lost and plant new congregations. Marvin then moved to Philadelphia where he helped plant a congregation and worked with it for twelve years. He was involved in Toastmasters International, a public speaking and leadership organization, for ten years. He has had articles published in Church Growth, Church and Family, and Image.

Since 1992 Marvin has served as the Minister of the Word for the Northwest Church of Christ in San Antonio, Texas, where his main responsibilities are preaching, evangelism, and adult education. He is married and has two children.
